    ReplyDelete
  39. Yay for Kay and Gayatri. Kay, that is one fabulous example of die cutting prowess! I have only a Big Shot, but love it to death. And my most used dies are the circle STAX from MFT. Couldn't be without them (for anyone starting out in the world of die cutting ;)

    ReplyDelete
  40. Awesome contest! And well done to the winners!

My fav is my Grand Caliber - love how I can cut multiple dies in one go! My most used dies are the Nesties squares and circles - couldn't do without them!

    ReplyDelete
  41. I love my Grand Caliber, but use my old Cuttlebug just as often because it's lighter and quicker to grab.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I only have a Cuttlebug so I'd have to say its my favourite ;)

    ReplyDelete
  43. First, I would like to Congratulate KAY and GAYATRI for winning the GDT spost. Both cards were absolutely fabulous and I can easily see why they won! AWESOME!!

I am definitely a die-cut addict and love so many that I could NEVER pick only one. I also guess I'm a bit of an addict with it comes to die cutting machines, because I have Big Shot, Cuttlebug, Vagabond, Cricut Expression and my absolutely FAVORITE which is my Silhouette Cameo! You'd think with a Cameo I would NEVER buy dies, but there are just SO many out there, and I could never design them as well as those who created them.

PS: Oh, and I have a Grand Caliber, which I forget I own because I never use it...what a shame. Needless to say I have TOO much stuff and have already donated my original Cricut and several cartridges and supplies to a favorite Dachshund Rescue for their Fundraiser yard sale. Working on packing my next donation now and will be doing a major purge again this fall too! Otherwise I'll be featured on "Hoarder" and that's not a good thing! LOL!! I have a feeling I am NOT alone!!

Thanks to Karolyn for her generous prize donation! Who doesn't love Avery Elle??

    ReplyDelete
  49. I love my Big Shot machine and I don't have a favorite die...I love all of them!

    ReplyDelete
  50. I don't know how you can choose the winning cards from all of the fabulous cards submitted but the two artists featured definitely deserve Top 2 honors!

I don't what I did before I had my Cuttlebug - it is used and abused from embossing to die cutting. My new favorite die is Stitched Butterflies by Lil' Inker Designs.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I love my little Cuttle-Bug as it is so awesome for traveling. My dies are all favorites but have been playing with DieNamics Staggered Hearts Border die the most lately. Congrats to the winners. The cards are wonderful!!

  67. My favorite die cutting machine is my trusty Big Shot. I use it everyday to cut and also emboss. Can't imagine making cards without it.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Congratulations to Kay and Gayatri, love the colorful cards they created!
I love my Cuttlebug, the older original version. I bought another one (just to have in reserve...you know, just in case) but it was a different newer model and I did not like the shorter cutting bed. I am still using the old original.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I've gotta go with my Big Shot. It's what lives on my craft table and never get's put away.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I couldn't be without my Spellbinders Grand Calibur machine! Love it! :)

    ReplyDelete
  72. I am a Big Shot fan. But I am waiting for my new Teresa Collins machine to arrive!

    ReplyDelete
  73. I finally have a ''oh! so long wished for'' Big Shot and just a few dies - framelits and Bigz are my faves, but I would LOOOVE to have a Grand Calibur for the bigger playing surface it offers. And I'm now learning about all THOSE great dies available in the world. So many on the wish list ;)

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  76. hmm, my fav machine is Artisan X-plorer from Spellbinders. Its small and fits right on my table. As for the dies, I'd say banner dies are always my favourite.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Love, love, love my Big Shot! Have to use it every day. And my favorite dies right now are flowers and vines, not to mention fancy borders and tags.

    ReplyDelete
  78. I don't know if it really qualifies as a die-cutting machine, but I have a Silhouette Portrait and I LOVE it! It lets me cut just about anything so the possibilities are endless!
On another note, I love what you are doing here! I'm looking forward to the challenges!

    ReplyDelete
  79. Gorgeous cards! My favorite is the Vagabond. Best electric ever!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  83. I love my cuttlebug, and my favorite dies are all the ones I own! Love those thin dies.

    ReplyDelete
  84. The Cuttlebug is my favorite die-cutting machine and I especially like it for the small footprint! Actually it's the only die-cutting machine I've ever owned and I've had it forever. It cuts everything I ask it to cut including the BigZ dies from Sizzix but cannot cut the largest dies that Spellbinder makes -they're to wide. My very favorite dies are the new thin dies! They take up minimal space and they cut intricate designs beautifully.

    ReplyDelete
  85. I love my cuttlebug. My favourite die must be the circle ones.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Love my Big Shot! I just got it last month and I'm still learning neat die cutting tricks!! I have just a few dies, but I use the hello dies from my favorite things quite a bit.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Hi everyone
my favourite machine (OK only machine) is the Big Shot and my favourite dies are spellbinders butterfly dies, they seem to flutter onto most everything I do
    Pat x

    ReplyDelete
  88. I really do love my Silhouette but my Big Shot remains near & dear to my heart! I find that dies always give a nice sharp cut edge, especially with intricate designs!

Gayatri and Kay totally rocked their submission entries! Awesome cards ladies :)

    ReplyDelete
  89. Congrats ladies!!!! I love my Vagabond and all MFT die-namics!!! Amongst others... ;)

    ReplyDelete
  90. I adore my Cuttlebug and I'm in love with all Memorybox dies :)

    ReplyDelete
  91. Congrats Kay & Gayatri, your cards a beautiful.

There are many cutters on the market now a days by far the one I reach for most often and favorite is my Cuttlebug (I also have a Silhouette Cameo, & the original Cricut) not just because I can use just about any die (nested circles are best) but also because of the many embossing folders available .

    ReplyDelete
  92. I have the Cuttlebug, Big Shot, and Big Shot Pro. I like my Cuttlebug best, but use my Big Shot the most.

    ReplyDelete
  93. My BigKick is my favorite machine! I don't think I ever make a card or project w/o using it. I have a Silhouette Portrait too, but use it mostly for templates.

    ReplyDelete
  94. I have the Bick Kick Machine (aka Big Shot) and I love it. I am really enjoying the Magnetic Platform I bought for it. So handy. Cheery Lynn has a fabulous new machine out with dial pressure controls. It's a big machine and can cut fabric too. I am hoping to get that one day. I like the thin dies the best. I would enjoy the Cameo but the one drawback to that is that it doesn't emboss. Still would love to get that one anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Congrats to the tie-winning guest designers -- both cards are amazing!!! My one-and-only die cutting machine is my Cuttlebug and it has served me well for many years. I have many different die cuts that I like from companies including Spellbinders, MFT, Simon Says Stamp, Paper Smooches, and PTI.

    ReplyDelete
  96. I just love these cards... great inspiration. I have a Big Kick, but looking to get the Grand Calibur.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Gorgeous cards, I love how bright and happy they both are! My favourite die-cutting machine is my Cricut Explore! Thanks for the chance to win. x

    ReplyDelete
  98. Love the guest designer's cards. Lots of inspiration here. I only have a Cuttlebug so it would be my favorite machine. I have many different dies, but I use the classic Spellbinders dies a lot. Lately it has been circles and ovals, more than anything.

    ReplyDelete
  99. I recently got the Evolution Advanced by We R Memory Keepers and I really like it! I have such a huge collection of dies, it is hard to choose just one, but I probably reach for the Fishtail Flags STAX set by My Favorite Things the most! Thanks for the chance to win. I LOVE Avery Elle!

    ReplyDelete
  113. Wow! That's a hard one because I love them all for different reasons. I own a Grand Calibur, Big Shot and a Cuttlebug. I like the large platform of the GC. I like the magnetic plate with the BS and I like the light and fast CB. My favorite dies are those with the most detail. They seem to give so much more to a handcrafted piece than just an oval or a square. Congratulations to the winners! Beautiful cards.

    ReplyDelete
  114. I learning to love my cameo more and more as I figure out all the bells and whistles, but I also love my lil cuttlebug! :)

    ReplyDelete
  115. My Cricut Expression 2 is my favorite die cutting machine right now. I'll really love the Explorer when I get out too I'm sure.

    ReplyDelete
  116. I love my Cuttlebug...it is how I use all the amazing steel dies from my fave stamping companies! I have purchased a Silhouette...but still don't know how to use it. I REALLY need to get my rear in gear and learn to use it...I think I will LOVE it!

    ReplyDelete
  117. I love dies! I used to have a Cuttlebug, but I traded up to a Big Shot and haven't regretted it for a moment! I love it!

    ReplyDelete
  118. Great cards! And congratulations for the Guest Designers!!

I love my Silhouette Cameo since the first day my husband got it for me almost 3 years ago! And couple months ago he got me WRMK Evolution Advanced and I just love that new toy to use with embossing folders and die cuts! I recently playing with The Waffle Flowers Bow die cut set. Love it!

    ReplyDelete
  122. I use a big shot for most of my die cutting. I can't wait to get the Avery Elle die that matches the party animal wiener dog balloon animal stamp set. I have a wiener dog named Frankfurter so I love using that set!

    ReplyDelete
  123. Pretty, pretty cards! Congrats Kay n Gayatri :)

I only have the big shot, so it's obviously my favourite die cutting machine. I love it! It's absolutely my most loved crafty thing! I love dies from Memory Box, SSS, and PTI. I have been starry eyed for a few Avery Elle and Lil Inker Dies, for a very long time.

And thank you Karolyn, and TCE challenge team for the chance!
