ReplyDeleteBoth cards are fabulous - congratulations to the winners. I still love my original Big Shot machine. It has served me well for 8 years and is still going strong.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Kay and Gayatri! My favorite machine is a really old cuttlebug.
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are absolutely wonderful...congrats to Kay and Gayatri! Love my Cuttlebug!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite die cutter is my Big Shot and my favorite die is TH Tattered Flowers
ReplyDeleteWow congrats Kay and Gayatri can't wait to see what you come up with. As for me I love my cuttlebug there is probably no day that I don't use it.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winners! My favorite die-cutting machine is the Cuttlebug - it's so handy! And I love all kind of wafer thin dies, especially the ones with stitched details. Thank you so much for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute cards!!! My fave die cutting machine is the Cuttlebug because that's what I own, but I might end up getting a Big Shot, too. I like options! ;) Thanks for the chance to win. I LOVE Avery Elle!!!
ReplyDeleteLoooove my Vagabond for die cutting. I think it would be hard to pick my favorite die, too many to love. My Lil'Inker designs stitched rectangles are always on my desk. Congrats to the winners!
ReplyDeleteKay and Gaytatri's cards are so fantastic--love my Big Shot and my Silhouette! As for dies, love them all prefer dies that are open!
ReplyDeleteLove my vagabond! Always hold onto my big shot however as a backup! These cards are both beautifully done! Congratulations ladies!
ReplyDeleteI know a lot of people made the switch but I still love my Cricut Imagine.
ReplyDeleteI just finished making wedding invites for a former fifth grader of mine (he's in his mid-twenties now), using my trusty Big Shot. I have a new Cameo, but I am almost as fond of my Big Shot as I am of my own children. :) Cannot wait to start participating in your challenges! Congrats to Kay and Gayatri -- you're inspiring me already!
ReplyDelete:) Warmly, Sara

Can't leave home with out my Big Shot.. It gets a workout most every day. Congrats to the guest winners, fab cards.
ReplyDeleteMy Cuttlebug is my right hand! Love it! My fav dies right now are Papertrey Ink's Tipped Tops. Can't wait for this challenge to start- LOVE the concept!
ReplyDeleteI can't seem to give up my Cuttlebug and my favorite dies are the Lil' Inker Designs Stitched Rectangles Congrats to the new guest designers - both are fabulous!
ReplyDeleteAlthough I have a Grand Caliber I still love my ancient Ellison Big Shot most, just a shame I can't get the large dies and folders through it! I'm addicted to Memory Box Flower dies at the moment and covert some of the fab sentiment dies I see around the blogsphere but not in the shops!
ReplyDeleteOh! Cute cards! I've only ever used my Spellbinder's Machine! :)
ReplyDeleteYay for Kay and Gayatri. Kay, that is one fabulous example of die cutting prowess! I have only a Big Shot, but love it to death. And my most used dies are the circle STAX from MFT. Couldn't be without them (for anyone starting out in the world of die cutting ;)
ReplyDeleteAwesome contest! And well done to the winners!
ReplyDeleteMy fav is my Grand Caliber - love how I can cut multiple dies in one go! My most used dies are the Nesties squares and circles - couldn't do without them!
I love my Grand Caliber, but use my old Cuttlebug just as often because it's lighter and quicker to grab.
ReplyDeleteI only have a Cuttlebug so I'd have to say its my favourite ;)
ReplyDeleteFirst, I would like to Congratulate KAY and GAYATRI for winning the GDT spost. Both cards were absolutely fabulous and I can easily see why they won! AWESOME!!
ReplyDeleteI am definitely a die-cut addict and love so many that I could NEVER pick only one. I also guess I'm a bit of an addict with it comes to die cutting machines, because I have Big Shot, Cuttlebug, Vagabond, Cricut Expression and my absolutely FAVORITE which is my Silhouette Cameo! You'd think with a Cameo I would NEVER buy dies, but there are just SO many out there, and I could never design them as well as those who created them.
PS: Oh, and I have a Grand Caliber, which I forget I own because I never use it...what a shame. Needless to say I have TOO much stuff and have already donated my original Cricut and several cartridges and supplies to a favorite Dachshund Rescue for their Fundraiser yard sale. Working on packing my next donation now and will be doing a major purge again this fall too! Otherwise I'll be featured on "Hoarder" and that's not a good thing! LOL!! I have a feeling I am NOT alone!!
Thanks to Karolyn for her generous prize donation! Who doesn't love Avery Elle??
Love my Big Shot!!!!! Congrats to the winners! Great cards
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the winners! Awesome cards/die cuts! I like my Big Shot machine, and I have to say I enjoy cutting creative frames with it. There are so many lovely ones out there, many of which I'd still like to own!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the winners. I just love my Cricut Expression :)
ReplyDeleteLove the winner's cards! Super job ladies! I LOVE my Cricut even though I know it's old school! My favorite dies would have to be anything that resembles a scalloped circle...I use them constantly!!! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winners! can't live without my cuttlebug!
ReplyDeleteI love my Big Shot machine and I don't have a favorite die...I love all of them!
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you can choose the winning cards from all of the fabulous cards submitted but the two artists featured definitely deserve Top 2 honors!
ReplyDeleteI don't what I did before I had my Cuttlebug - it is used and abused from embossing to die cutting. My new favorite die is Stitched Butterflies by Lil' Inker Designs.
I love my little Cuttle-Bug as it is so awesome for traveling. My dies are all favorites but have been playing with DieNamics Staggered Hearts Border die the most lately. Congrats to the winners. The cards are wonderful!!
ReplyDeleteLove my Big Shot and Avery Elle dies.
ReplyDeletei love my spellbinders grand calibur for low profile dies and my sizzix big kick for standard steel dies! I have been loving the MFT blueprints dies lately...
ReplyDeleteLooks like two fabulous designers!!! Congrats ladies! I LOVE my Silhouette --- it does so many fabulous things!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun contest. My favorite die cutting machine is my Big Shot, and I think my favorite and most used dies are my Lil Inker Stitched Rectangles. Those babies never leave my desk.
ReplyDeleteI have a Big Shot and love it! I have not used any other die cutting machine, so for me this is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteSorry, forgot to say I have a Cuttlebug that I love. Easy to use and easy to carry around.
ReplyDeleteGreat cards! You had a tough choice as I saw a lot of really fabulous cards! My favorite die cutting machine is the Vagabond. Best Christmas present ever!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Kay and Gayatri, two beautiful cards! My favourite die-cutting machine is my ONLY die-cutting machine - my Big Shot. :-)
ReplyDeleteI generally use my Cuttlebug although I do have a Cricut and a Silhouette Portrait that I haven't learned to use. Dies are SO much easier.
ReplyDeleteWoo hoo! Congrats to the winners!!! My fav machine is my cuttlebug! And my favorites if have to say are my spellbinders nesting circle dies! I couldn't live without them! Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteFABULOUS Guest DT choices - can't wait for this challenge to begin :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE my Cuttlebug, although that being said I am tempted to try a Big Shot! My FAVOURITE die-cut sets would have to be Lil Inkers Stitched Squares and Circles!
Congratulations Kay and Gayatri! You are both so deserving of this honor!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite die cutting set is Lil' Inkers Stitched Rectangle Mats...hands down, I use them more than any other.
Thank you so much for a chance to win...I can't wait to play along, too!
Congratulations, ladies! Such fun, lovely cards. My favorite machine is the only one I have - my Cuttlebug (I need something that doesn't have a large footprint...I would love a Vagabond!!). Thanks so much for the chance to win. Looking forward to this challenge blog!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards! Congrats ladies! My favorite die cut machine is the Big Shot.
ReplyDeleteI've only tried Big Shot and I love it!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite die cutting machine is my trusty Big Shot. I use it everyday to cut and also emboss. Can't imagine making cards without it.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Kay and Gayatri, love the colorful cards they created!
ReplyDeleteI love my Cuttlebug, the older original version. I bought another one (just to have in reserve...you know, just in case) but it was a different newer model and I did not like the shorter cutting bed. I am still using the old original.
I've gotta go with my Big Shot. It's what lives on my craft table and never get's put away.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't be without my Spellbinders Grand Calibur machine! Love it! :)
ReplyDeleteLove my cuttlebug!!!
ReplyDeleteWell, I love die cuts, my collection is always growing. I think one of my most favorites right now though is a tag set from Reverse Confetti.
ReplyDeleteI am a Big Shot fan. But I am waiting for my new Teresa Collins machine to arrive!
ReplyDeleteI finally have a ''oh! so long wished for'' Big Shot and just a few dies - framelits and Bigz are my faves, but I would LOOOVE to have a Grand Calibur for the bigger playing surface it offers. And I'm now learning about all THOSE great dies available in the world. So many on the wish list ;)
ReplyDeleteYay! Great giveaway! Avery Elle has such adorable stamps. I have a cuttle bug and a big shot and they both get a workout on a regular basis. Can't wait for the first challenge post!
ReplyDeleteLove my cuttlebug and for multi design cut outs my silhoutte. Love all my spellbinders for their cut and emboss properties!
ReplyDeletehmm, my fav machine is Artisan X-plorer from Spellbinders. Its small and fits right on my table. As for the dies, I'd say banner dies are always my favourite.
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love my Big Shot! Have to use it every day. And my favorite dies right now are flowers and vines, not to mention fancy borders and tags.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if it really qualifies as a die-cutting machine, but I have a Silhouette Portrait and I LOVE it! It lets me cut just about anything so the possibilities are endless!
ReplyDeleteOn another note, I love what you are doing here! I'm looking forward to the challenges!
Gorgeous cards! My favorite is the Vagabond. Best electric ever!
ReplyDeleteThese cards are awesome.....I look forward to seeing what they do as guest designers! I love my Cuttlebug...not only do I use it for embossing but it is my die cutting workhorse.
ReplyDeleteThe cards are fabulous, congrats to the guest designers! My favorite system is my Vagabond, couldn't live without it!!
ReplyDeleteMy Big Kick is still going strong after all these years, so it's still my favorite! By the way, I love your new challenge blog!
ReplyDeleteI love my cuttlebug, and my favorite dies are all the ones I own! Love those thin dies.
ReplyDeleteThe Cuttlebug is my favorite die-cutting machine and I especially like it for the small footprint! Actually it's the only die-cutting machine I've ever owned and I've had it forever. It cuts everything I ask it to cut including the BigZ dies from Sizzix but cannot cut the largest dies that Spellbinder makes -they're to wide. My very favorite dies are the new thin dies! They take up minimal space and they cut intricate designs beautifully.
ReplyDeleteI love my cuttlebug. My favourite die must be the circle ones.
ReplyDeleteLove my Big Shot! I just got it last month and I'm still learning neat die cutting tricks!! I have just a few dies, but I use the hello dies from my favorite things quite a bit.
ReplyDeleteHi everyone
ReplyDeletemy favourite machine (OK only machine) is the Big Shot and my favourite dies are spellbinders butterfly dies, they seem to flutter onto most everything I do
Pat x
I really do love my Silhouette but my Big Shot remains near & dear to my heart! I find that dies always give a nice sharp cut edge, especially with intricate designs!
ReplyDeleteGayatri and Kay totally rocked their submission entries! Awesome cards ladies :)
Congrats ladies!!!! I love my Vagabond and all MFT die-namics!!! Amongst others... ;)
ReplyDeleteI adore my Cuttlebug and I'm in love with all Memorybox dies :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats Kay & Gayatri, your cards a beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThere are many cutters on the market now a days by far the one I reach for most often and favorite is my Cuttlebug (I also have a Silhouette Cameo, & the original Cricut) not just because I can use just about any die (nested circles are best) but also because of the many embossing folders available .
I have the Cuttlebug, Big Shot, and Big Shot Pro. I like my Cuttlebug best, but use my Big Shot the most.
ReplyDeleteMy BigKick is my favorite machine! I don't think I ever make a card or project w/o using it. I have a Silhouette Portrait too, but use it mostly for templates.
ReplyDeleteI have the Bick Kick Machine (aka Big Shot) and I love it. I am really enjoying the Magnetic Platform I bought for it. So handy. Cheery Lynn has a fabulous new machine out with dial pressure controls. It's a big machine and can cut fabric too. I am hoping to get that one day. I like the thin dies the best. I would enjoy the Cameo but the one drawback to that is that it doesn't emboss. Still would love to get that one anyway.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the tie-winning guest designers -- both cards are amazing!!! My one-and-only die cutting machine is my Cuttlebug and it has served me well for many years. I have many different die cuts that I like from companies including Spellbinders, MFT, Simon Says Stamp, Paper Smooches, and PTI.
ReplyDeleteI just love these cards... great inspiration. I have a Big Kick, but looking to get the Grand Calibur.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards, I love how bright and happy they both are! My favourite die-cutting machine is my Cricut Explore! Thanks for the chance to win. x
ReplyDeleteLove the guest designer's cards. Lots of inspiration here. I only have a Cuttlebug so it would be my favorite machine. I have many different dies, but I use the classic Spellbinders dies a lot. Lately it has been circles and ovals, more than anything.
ReplyDeleteI recently got the Evolution Advanced by We R Memory Keepers and I really like it! I have such a huge collection of dies, it is hard to choose just one, but I probably reach for the Fishtail Flags STAX set by My Favorite Things the most! Thanks for the chance to win. I LOVE Avery Elle!
ReplyDeleteHi Cresta! I wanted to let you know that your comment was chosen as one of the winning comments for the $25 Avery Elle gift certificates! Please email me with your full name and email address, and I'll take care of getting that gift certificate out to you! Congratulations!
DeleteGorgeous cards! I don't have a side cutting machine - unfortunately. On the list.
ReplyDeleteGreat cards. I have a Sizzix manual die cut machine and love it from the beginning. For die cuts, I love Papertrey Ink die cuts.
ReplyDeleteGreat cards! My favorite die cutting machine is the Cuttlebug. Thanks for a chance to win!
ReplyDeleteWell done Kay and Gayatri! Gorgeous cards. I've had a Cricut Expressions, but gave that up for a Silhouette Cameo. Really like it! However...My Big Shot is my go-to die cutting machine! The ease, the portability, the wonderful edges all make it my favorite machine! Bev
ReplyDeleteI love my Silhouette Cameo and Grand Calibur. Your cards above are brilliant!
ReplyDeleteSorry. I was not able to enter more on that comment. My favourite machine is the big shot. Doreen
ReplyDeleteMy favorite die cutting machine is my Big Shot! I previously had the Cuttlebug, but I am much more pleased with the Big Shot. It would be impossible to choose a favorite die because I love all of the ones I have. The cards posted here are just lovely!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations winners.
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with my cricut and scal program. Use it all the time!
Love my Vagabond!!!! Many favorite dies - impossible to choose one.
ReplyDeleteI love my silhouette! You just can't beat the versatility of it. Instant downloads, design your own images, it cuts and draws!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Gayatri and Kay. Looking forward to this challenge. I love my cuttlebug and Cameo!!
ReplyDeleteMy all time favorite is Sizzix Big Shot. I have Silhouette Portrait but don't use it as often as I use Big Shot. Beautiful cards by the way.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE my Big Shot! I have the black and pink one and have used it for years! If it ever breaks I will replace it with a new one!
ReplyDeleteWow! That's a hard one because I love them all for different reasons. I own a Grand Calibur, Big Shot and a Cuttlebug. I like the large platform of the GC. I like the magnetic plate with the BS and I like the light and fast CB. My favorite dies are those with the most detail. They seem to give so much more to a handcrafted piece than just an oval or a square. Congratulations to the winners! Beautiful cards.
ReplyDeleteI learning to love my cameo more and more as I figure out all the bells and whistles, but I also love my lil cuttlebug! :)
ReplyDeleteMy Cricut Expression 2 is my favorite die cutting machine right now. I'll really love the Explorer when I get out too I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteI love my Cuttlebug...it is how I use all the amazing steel dies from my fave stamping companies! I have purchased a Silhouette...but still don't know how to use it. I REALLY need to get my rear in gear and learn to use it...I think I will LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteI love dies! I used to have a Cuttlebug, but I traded up to a Big Shot and haven't regretted it for a moment! I love it!
ReplyDeleteGreat cards! And congratulations for the Guest Designers!!
ReplyDeleteI love my Silhouette Cameo since the first day my husband got it for me almost 3 years ago! And couple months ago he got me WRMK Evolution Advanced and I just love that new toy to use with embossing folders and die cuts! I recently playing with The Waffle Flowers Bow die cut set. Love it!
My favorite (and only) die cutter is my silhouette cameo. Thank you for the contest & the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI have only Big Shot and I love it, my favourite dies come from Memory Box and Simon Says Stamp. Avery Elle's dies on my wishlist
ReplyDeleteMy favorite die cutter that I reach for almost every day is my Big Shot. I love dies from so many different companies. My Cameo runs a very close second to being my favorite but isn't one I reach for all of the time! Thanks for the chance to win once again!
ReplyDeleteI use a big shot for most of my die cutting. I can't wait to get the Avery Elle die that matches the party animal wiener dog balloon animal stamp set. I have a wiener dog named Frankfurter so I love using that set!
ReplyDeletePretty, pretty cards! Congrats Kay n Gayatri :)
ReplyDeleteI only have the big shot, so it's obviously my favourite die cutting machine. I love it! It's absolutely my most loved crafty thing! I love dies from Memory Box, SSS, and PTI. I have been starry eyed for a few Avery Elle and Lil Inker Dies, for a very long time.
And thank you Karolyn, and TCE challenge team for the chance!
Regards,
Vithya
